The Klein Law Firm announces that a class action complaint has been filed on behalf of shareholders of Interface, Inc. (NASDAQ: TILE) who purchased shares between March 2, 2018 and September 28, 2020. The action, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, alleges that the Company violated federal securities laws.
In particular, the Interface lawsuit alleges that (i) Interface had inadequate disclosure controls and procedures and internal control over financial reporting; (ii) consequently, Interface, inter alia, reported artificially inflated income and earnings per share (“EPS”) in 2015 and 2016; (iii) Interface and certain of its employees were under investigation by the SEC with respect to the foregoing issues since at least as early as November 2017, had impeded the SEC’s investigation, and downplayed the true scope of the Company’s wrongdoing and liability with respect to the SEC investigation; and (iv) as a result, the Company’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
Shareholders have until January 11, 2021 to petition the court for lead plaintiff status. Your ability to share in any recovery does not require that you serve as lead plaintiff. You may choose to be an absent class member.
