The Klein Law Firm announces that a class action complaint has been filed on behalf of shareholders of Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (NYSE: OHI) who purchased shares between February 8, 2017 and October 31, 2017. The action, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that the Company violated federal securities laws.
In particular, the complaint alleges that (1) financial and operating results of certain of the Company’s operators were deteriorating; (2) as a result, certain of the Company’s operators were experiencing worsening liquidity issues that were significantly impacting the operators’ ability to make timely rent payments; (3) as a result, certain of the Company’s direct financing leases were impaired and certain receivables were uncollectible; and (4) that, as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ statements about Omega’s business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and/or misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.
